I've read a lot of rants about super-awesome characters who can never lose a fight. I could personally rant for a good few hours about the same thing, but I won't.

Stop it, your characters don't have that power.
Okay, I get that we're doing a time skip. However, it's only a week and most of you, fellow RPers, are KID darklings. ( You can't do that. ) -

RP is not a pissing contest. Your characters do not automatically have to be bigger and more skilled and (harder better faster stronger /daft punk) than everyone else's characters.
Also, they do not always have to win every single battle and hit everything every single time.

I really don't get why people are so stunned and surprised when they RP on sites/comms notorious for terrible RP (say, Gaia Online, or MySpace, or SWS) and then post big long ranty fits about how the person they're RPing with is a fucking terrible RPer and needs to be taken out and shot ( Read more... ) -

I play an original character THE JokerII at a proboards rp and i was fighting a guy and i had a knife in his hand. Then he just kicks me in the face and shot me. But i already shot him so that wasnt fair plus i also had expelled poisonous gas into the air and it was unavoidable. Wat a noob!
